4 month's old!

our baby is four months old! everyone warned us that the time would fly by, but i definitely never thought it would fly by this fast. i have to say that the last four months have been the best ever! i just don't know what i ever did without this little precious baby boy in my life (although i am pretty sure that i slept a little more back then!). i stay pretty busy with baby clark and never have the time to update the blog...i am going to try and get back into the rhythm of doing some updates. So here we go...

clark is a momma's boy (and i could not be happier!) :)

he sleeps from 10-12 hours a night with only one feeding (most of the time)

he still has to be swaddled at night

he takes about 3 -4 naps a day. a 30 minute nap in the morning, a 2-3 hour nap around 1pm, and at least one or two more 30 minute naps.

i have to hold him to get him to nap for longer than 30 minutes :)

he is wearing 3-6 month clothes and size 2 diapers

he loves his paci

he will have nothing to do with nursing anymore... he is eating 4-5 oz of formula every 3 hrs during the day.

he started spitting up when he was 3 months old and still has some reflux, but he hardly ever cries with it

he has been gnawing on his hands since he was 2 months old

he loves sophie the giraffe

he puts everything in his mouth...bibs, clothes, blankies, toys, and etc...

he loves to pull the chain in his bouncy seat and listen to it sing

he is holding his head up really well

he can roll from tummy to his back when he wants to

he loves to watch ellimay

he follows me with his eyes everywhere i go and has just started doing the same with his daddy

he has tried cereal, avocados and bananas and is not really that interested in any of them, so we are just giving him time and we will try it again soon

he stopped nursing around 3 1/2 months :( i just never could produce enough for him and he finally decided it was easier to get it from a bottle :( this has been really hard for me to accept

he is trying to hold his bottle

he is easily distracted when eating

he loves to watch his praise baby videos

he is still sleeping in the room with us in his cradle and sometimes in bed with us

he loves bath time

he weighs 16 pounds 1 ounces and is 25 1/2 inches long

he has just started trying to roll from back to tummy...

and that is all I can think of for now!
